Hakoba opens fashion gallery in Secunderabad

HAKOBAŽ, the high fashion embroidered fabric brand from Pioneer Embroideries Ltd (PEL), has announced the opening of its first exclusive fashion gallery in Andhra Pradesh at Secunderabad here on Wednesday.

Young tennis ace, Ms. Sania Mirza, inaugurated the fashion gallery. The gallery at Secunderabad is Hakoba's fourth exclusive outlet in the country and first in South India.

Addressing newspersons the PEL Managing Director, Mr. M.C. Baid, said the company plans to open more than 100 such galleries across the country and also overseas over a period of next five years. For the near term, Hakoba has been actively sourcing opportunities in Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai to open exclusive outlets, he said.

The Hakoba gallery located in Sindhi Colony here consists of three sections - ready-to-stitch salwar kameez and dupattas, sarees and Hakoba fabrics and designs for the customer to choose from.

The company plans to expand the range soon to include ready-to-wear garments, furnishing, lingerie, gift articles and accessories leading into a lifestyle store eventually. At the store, the fashion consultants from the Hakoba Design Studio would counsel and guide the customers at no additional fees, Mr Baid said.

Stating that Hakoba considers Andhra Pradesh as a very important market, he said, "We will open more Hakoba fashion galleries in Andhra Pradesh to reach the consumers."
